Miwa Goto is a Japanese illustrator based in Paris. Born in Tokyo and grew up in Yokohama, she studied fashion design with aim of becoming an illustrator.

 

After graduating from Bunka Fashion College, she made her debut as an illustrator with a serialisation in Vogue Japan. Soon, she started working for various magazines, such as Harper's Bazaar, marie claire Japan. She has also collaborated with many brands such as Barney's New York Japan, Schwarzkopf Japan, Tomorrowland, Bell & Ross, etc. She has had exhibitions in Tokyo and participated in a group show in New York.

Moving to Europe in 2007 allowed her to find new inspiration and brought her the opportunity to live in both France and Ireland. She is always inspired by her life Tokyo-Paris, oriental design and western design.
